What are the rules of Sudoku?

Sudoku is a diagram from 9 x 9. It is divided in 9 squares.

The numbers 1 till 9 must be placed only once in:

  • Each column (vertical)
  • Each row (horizontal)
  • Each square (3x3)

    Before starting there are always numbers filled in the diagram. The less numbers the more difficult the puzzle is to solve it.
